The Sarojin is an award-winning, totally romantic, luxurious, boutique styled hotel with incredible (and deserved) repeat demand, year after year…
The Sarojin is one of the most popular and acclaimed of all the hotels in Asia, a frequent award winner with a high level of personal attention and excellent facilities. Located 10 minutes drive outside of the village of Khao Lak, 70 minutes scenic transfer from Phuket Airport.
The Sarojin has 56 rooms and suites, grouped around tropical gardens in low rise units of 6 in a horseshoe shape.
As all rooms and suites are set back in the garden in a horseshoe shape, they do not offer a sea view, although the beach is a just gentle stroll away through the tropical gardens. All are spacious, with integrated living space.
On the ground floor, you have the Garden Residence Rooms (95sqm), with the Pool Residence (120 sqm) on the corner of each unit with private plunge pool, with foliage hedges to add to your privacy.
On the upper floor, you have the very sumptuous Jacuzzi Pool Suites (150 sqm) offering a space and privacy, a luxurious bedroom and ensuite spacious bathroom with a large bathtub and two separate showers, plus a separate living room (separated with a door), with day bed and second bathroom with outdoor shower.
There is a large terrace with Jacuzzi Pool (2.2m diameter), sundeck and a beautiful garden view. The living room can also be equipped with 2 extra beds for families with 2 children (10-18 years).
Two Bedroom Pool Residence. These are corner ground floor Pool Residence connecting to a Garden Residence and are ideal for two couples or a family of 4 + 2 (with 2 extra beds).
Note: Sarojin only accepts children over 10 years.

If you are looking for romance, personalised attention and a discreet sense of style, The Sarojin ticks all the right boxes.
Over the years, The Sarojin has seen outstanding client satisfaction with personal attention to detail, quality of accommodation, and cuisine all receiving the highest accolades. We have known the owners and the management team at the Sarojin from even before pre-opening in 2005. As such, we enjoy a relationship that goes way beyond the commercial. I like to think we have contributed in our own small way to their considerable success.
Note: During the peak season months of December to March, the hotel has so much demand, with a high percentage of repeat travellers. Early booking is essential to avoid disappointment.
All of the accommodation is of a very high standard, and each year they seem to be further enhanced. The new Jacuzzi Pool Suites look incredible, both in design and elegance.
Children—well behaved, of course—10 years plus are now happily accepted, although the resort remains essentially couples-focused.
One of my top favorite hotels – anywhere. Our relationship with The Sarojin goes way beyond the commercial. It has a subtle, timeless luxury and incredible attention to detail. Some of the most loyal repeat travelers return year after year, sometimes even more frequently. They usually find that some of their casual observations have been introduced.

Thought-Provoking
The Sarojin encourages you to discover the local area and provides a taxi service (10 minutes) to take you into Khao Lak where you have some low-priced interesting restaurant alternatives. In addition, particularly in the months of December to April, there are some simple beach bar/restaurants just along the beach to the right. On this, the beach at the Sarojin is one of the best in the area, particularly in the winter months. Even in the summer months, the cove shelters the beach from the higher waves seen elsewhere on this coastline but caution should still be taken. As all beaches in Thailand are public, on the right-hand side looking out to sea you tend to have day visitors from those hotels less fortunate with beach access. Sarojin guests seem to prefer a quieter area to the left. A small stream seems to create an invisible border!
A feature of The Sarojin is the ability to find out what will make your holiday unforgettable and then personalise arrangements to create a totally unique experience. So you can picnic on the beach, either for lunch or torch-lit dinner, or maybe try a trek through the forest ending with wine tasting or dinner beside a waterfall! Or take the speedboat and explore the many little coves that abound on this coastline.
The Sarojin can easily be combined with a tour around Thailand, and we would particularly suggest The Peninsula or The Siam hotels (Bangkok) and 137 Pillars House (Chiang Mai). Moving further afield, visiting Luang Prabang in Laos where we would suggest La Residence or Siem Reap in Cambodia staying at Phum Baitang.
David from Chic tends to visit annually at least, for both personal & professional reasons. According to hotel records, he has stayed or visited 17 times! He would be delighted to discuss Sarojin in detail.

All price guides are Per Person Sharing Double Room (Entry level), based on travel between May and/or June when prices are generally at their lowest and include promotional offers. Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May - June level and about 50% more in Asia. For the Mediterranean & Canary Islands, Caribbean, Arabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.
*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per-person, per-night hotel guide, excluding air fare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.
