David from Chic stayed here in December 2021.
As you drive up, the limestone islands on the horizon come into sight. Magical. The reception staff ask you to have a seat and enjoy a drink while they complete your registration, allowing you to truly take in the stunning view.
You can see the owner traveled the region, took inspiration, and then set out to make it even better in her own Thai way. Super rooms and villas, imaginative dining options in various locations. Incredible attention to detail. Good choice of restaurants with differing locations.
And what a beach! Without doubt, one of the very best hotels in the entire region I have seen, and I am known for my critical eyes!

Banyan Tree also has a low-rise villa-style resort in Phuket, and the combination would make an interesting contrast. The scenic road transfer between the two resorts would be around 3 hours. Plus, there is Banyan Tree in Bangkok, known for its rooftop Vertigo bar and restaurant. This could be considered for a twin or triple centre. Ask us for suggestions.

+ About Krabi, Koh Lanta & Koh Lipe
Krabi is located on the west coat mainland facing the Andaman Sea, and Koh Lanta is linked by car-ferry and/or speedboat. Both are wonderfully tropical, with limestone islands emerging from the generally turquoise waters. Krabi is more developed and has a lively nightlife scene at Ao Nang. Koh Lanta is quieter, with just a couple of good hotels, offering a glorious and real sense of escapism.

All price guides are Per Person Sharing Double Room (Entry level), based on travel between May and/or June when prices are generally at their lowest and include promotional offers. Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May - June level and about 50% more in Asia. For the Mediterranean & Canary Islands, Caribbean, Arabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.
*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per-person, per-night hotel guide, excluding air fare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.
