David from Chic stayed here in December (2021). Here are just a few lines from his review:
“Magical, from the instant lobby views on arrival. It is obvious the owner spent time touring the region and has introduced all of the highlights into her resort. Incredible attention to detail. Good choice of restaurants with differing locations. And what a beach! Without doubt one of the very best hotels in the entire region I have seen, and I am known for my critical eyes!“
Banyan Tree also has a low rise villa-style resort in Phuket and the combination would make an interesting contrast. The scenic road transfer between the two resorts would be around 3 hours. Plus there is Banyan Tree in Bangkok, known for its rooftop Vertigo bar and restaurant and this could be considered for a twin or triple centre. Ask us for suggestions.
Suggested for romance, families in the villas, and unashamed luxury.

+ About Krabi & Koh Lanta
Krabi is located on the west coat mainland facing the Andaman Sea, and Koh Lanta is linked by car-ferry and/or speedboat. Both are wonderfully tropical, with limestone islands emerging from the generally turquoise waters. Krabi is more developed and has a lively nightlife scene at Ao Nang. Koh Lanta is quieter, with just a couple of good hotels, offering a glorious and real sense of escapism.

Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May – June level and about 50% more in Asia.
For the Mediterranean & Canary Islands, Caribbean, Arabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.
*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per person per night hotel guide, excluding airfare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.
