Kalima Resort and Spa Phuket is another good superior first-class hotel. Contemporary elevated design spread over three layers on a hillside on the central west coast at Kalim Bay. Super views of the Andaman Sea with the lights of Patong clearly visible at night.

The airport is 50 minutes, Phuket Town 30 minutes and the lively resort of Patong an 8-minute drive.

The accommodation is really impressive and spacious, and the views from most public areas are equally attractive. Kalima Resort and Spa Phuket is not specifically a beach hotel, but this probably gives it more of a year-round appeal.

The proudly raucous bar & nightlife resort of South Patong/ Walking Street is about 10-minute drive away, but during the day Patong has a relatively calmer vibe with numerous shops, restaurants and an extensive beachfront.

For us, the hotel really offers outstanding value in combination with its sister property in Khao Lak.

Phuket is probably the best known of Thailand’s resort islands. There are some developed areas, particularly on the southwest coast, but most of the island remains totally authentic with farmlands, forests and lively villages.

We can offer a full range of optional tours, either based on a join-in (lowest priced) or private, totally tailored to you (pricier but maybe even more memorable for all the right reasons).

Just as ideas – full-day cooking tour off-island, escorted bike tours, sea canoe cave discoveries, and a walking tour of Phuket Town with its Sino-Portuguese-themed shop houses.
