Rosewood Phuket is a relatively new name on the Phuket luxury hotel scene. Opened in 2017 to instant acclaim. The Rosewood is set within a lush verdant tropical estate, totally exclusive and tranquil, with pathways leading down to the 600m Emerald Bay beach. The style and ambience are elegant, combining contemporary comforts and subtle Thai influences.
The location is on the southwest coast, 65 minutes from the airport. The lively and proudly raucous resort area of Patong is 20-minute drive away. A very different world, maybe fun for a night out and then happily retreat back to the lavish retreat.
Rosewood Phuket has a choice of 71 Pavilions and Villas.
All are extremely spacious and beautifully designed. Total comfort but with a real sense of destination. All have a private pool and in and out living areas.
The Partial Ocean View and the Ocean View Pool Pavilions are 130 sqm and include Junior Suite style bedrooms with integrated living area.
Oceanfront Pool Pavilions are larger at 146sqm.
For Families requiring even more space, there are several Two- Bedroom Ocean View Pool Pavilions (one king-size bed and another twin bedroom, each with en –suite), 253 sqm.
There are almost ridiculously large Two-Bedroom Beach Houses starting at 796 sqm. Incredible.

The beach, whilst perfectly fine, can see some seasonal erosion and is probably best appreciated at high tide. However, the pool areas are attractive, plus each pavilion & villa has its own pool. To most, the beach is less of a priority, ensuring the resort has a higher demand than most year-round.
