Kayumanis Ubud is wonderfully romantic, almost spiritual…
Kayumanis Ubud is a boutique deluxe, all-villa pool suite property. Sister hotel to the resort in Nusa Dua, similar in design, but with the added attraction of a truly spectacular setting overlooking Agung river.
Located just 20 minutes drive outside of the village of Ubud. The airport is 60 minutes drive, a little longer if you want to enjoy the fantastic views en route.
From 01 April 2022, the resort will accept (ideally well behaved) children but there are no specific facilities for them. You need to be sensibly cautious as villas have private pools. You may be asked to sign an insurance disclaimer.
Kayumanis Ubud has 23 individual villas, all with their own swimming pools.
Each is designed in a totally Bali authentic style, with the villas linked by shaded pathways giving the impression of a traditional village.
All villas have spacious bedrooms with four-poster beds, mainly outdoor showers, garden and high walls to ensure your privacy.

Attractive restaurant and bar
Kayumanis Ubud is wonderfully romantic, almost spiritual. Just the place to enjoy with someone really special. The views, the service, the setting – all exceptional. Kayumanis Ubud will appeal to the true individual.
In addition to the main restaurant, there are several other options close by and many more within Ubud village. We particularly suggest the combination with the Kayumanis in Nusa Dua.
The Truth About Earthquakes & Volcanoes
Indonesia is located within the dramatically named “Ring of Fire”. As such, earthquakes are almost a daily occurrence in some parts of the archipelago. Anything less than five on the Richter scale of earthquakes hardly breaks a stride locally and is barely reported. There are 130 active volcanoes. Some have been docile for years, others seem to grumble more frequently. So in reality, you can have natural a disturbance, but the chances of it actually happening to you are rare. A little tremble quite probably, anything more serious unlikely. Neither earthquakes or volcanic eruptions are seasonal.

In our view, Bali Indonesia is one of the most romantic islands in the world. Add instant culture & an almost spiritual atmosphere. Despite increased tourism, once away from the busier resorts you still have a wonderful sense of tradition.

COVID-19 - Updated Information – March 2023.
Virtually all countries worldwide have relaxed their protocols on Covid and there are very few restrictions. However, most countries review this on a month-by-month basis and will take immediate action should cases return or increase.
As a general statement, we would say travel is back to about 90% of its 2019 pre-covid levels – although with maybe less staff than before. This can particularly apply to airports with check-in teams and baggage handlers, and also in hotels. If you are a long-time repeat visitor to a specific hotel it is quite possible you might know your way around the property better than the newly appointed staff – smile and maybe even try to assist!

All price guides are Per Person Sharing Double Room (Entry level), based on travel between May and/or June when prices are generally at their lowest and include promotional offers. Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May - June level and about 50% more in Asia. For the Mediterranean & Canary Islands, Caribbean, Arabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.
