The Chatrium Hotel Riverside is superbly located on the Chao Phraya riverside, yet with numerous shopping opportunities just a short boat ride away, including the new and aptly named Icon, one of the most luxurious malls in the entire region. The hotel provides fantastic high-quality style with spacious accommodation and offers Chic Locations clients excellent value.
The attraction, Asiatique, with its family-focused night market entertainment style, is just a couple of minutes away (see note below).
The airport is approx. 50 minutes by road. There is a regular free ferry to the Skytrain link, just 5 minutes away.

The Chatrium Hotel Riverside is, without doubt, one of the best-value, quality-superior first-class hotels in the city, particularly when combined with one of the fantastic Chic Locations’ extra-value offers.
The Deluxe entry-level rooms are good, but why not spoil yourself & upgrade to spectacular river-view options? The building is tall, 33 floors, so you might need to be comfortable with heights.
The nearby Asiatique entertainment area has market stalls with some bartering expected. There are also some very well-priced massage parlours, with feet, back and shoulders a speciality. Worth trying after a long flight. At the other end of the price scale is the amazing Icon shopping mall, with a regular ferry throughout the day – just incredible even if you don’t buy anything (unlikely) – with a special ground floor food court showcasing cuisine from around the country.

The excellent riverside location of the Chatrium adds to the appeal, yet the boat shuttle allows easy and regular access to the ICON shopping mall, Sathorn Skytrain station and Ferry Point. New neighbours of the Chatrium include Four Seasons Residences (one of the tallest buildings in Bangkok) and Capella Hotel, both opened in June 2019, and we think it says much about the desirability of the area.
