The Chatrium Hotel Riverside is superbly located on the Chao Praya riverside, yet with numerous shopping opportunities, just a short boat ride away including the new and aptly named Icon, one of the most luxurious malls in the entire region. The Chatrium Hotel Riverside is, without doubt, one of the best value, quality superior first-class hotels in the city, particularly when combined with one of the fantastic Chic Location’s extra value offers.
The Grand (deluxe) entry-level rooms are good, but why not spoil yourself and upgrade to the even more spacious one-bedroom suites at a nominal supplement.
The Asiatique entertainment area has market stalls with some bartering expected. There are also some very well priced massage parlours, with feet, back and shoulders a speciality . Worth trying after a long flight. You have access to numerous restaurants with those facing the river particularly worth considering.
The excellent riverside location of the Chatrium adds to the appeal, yet the boat shuttle allows easy and regular access to the ICON shopping mall, Sathorn sky train station and Ferry point. New neighbours of the Chatrium include Four Seasons Residences (one of the tallest buildings in Bangkok) and Capella Hotel, both opened in June 2019, and we think says much about the desirability of the area .
