Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel and Spa is an exquisite boutique hotel, converted beautifully from a 17th century monastery. Romantic seclusion, but without solitude. Almost angelic sunlight. Amazing views over the Gulf of Salerno. The hotel is built on 4 levels, with sub-tropical gardens and lush landscaping.
Wonderfully located. Amalfi is just 10 minutes drive away, Positano 25 minutes, Ravello 15 minutes, and Naples airport about 90 minutes scenic transfer.

Italy is rightly associated with romance, and it does not come any better than this. The Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel and Spa is wonderfully stylish and totally elegant, in an almost effortless way. As the hotel is built in steps, it would not be ideal for those with mobility issues.
Children under 16 years are not accepted. The appeal is essentially couples focused.
Marie-Helene from Chic stayed there in May (2016). She returned positively gushing about the romance of the place. We think she was alone! She would be delighted to discuss the hotel in further detail.
This area of Southern Italy is not known for its sandy beaches. They are mainly with pebbles, but the sea quality and clarity is usually superb, with amazing colours. By chartering a small boat or yacht, you can easily visit some of the secluded and otherwise inaccessible little coves that abound on this coastline. Your concierge will be delighted to assist you.
Although Naples is the main gateway, we can easily tailor arrangements to include 2 or 3 nights in Rome, which has some equally superb boutique hotels. Then take a high speed train to Naples – Only about 90 minutes. We can then arrange for the Monastero driver to meet you. Maybe take you on a quick tour of the vibrant and totally authentic city before winding your way down the coast?

Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, some hotels may have changed their facilities. Standard descriptions like distance from airport or town remain consistent as does the overall resort style. However, the number of restaurants, swimming pools, if more than one, are by example flexible and can change depending on occupancy and circumstances. Spa facilities, in particular, may be changed depending on local and international suggestions.
