Enjoy Chic Arabian Boutique Elegance with Al Bait…
A 3 day (2 night) extension from Dubai will start from
around £400 person in the summer months | £498 in the winter
Includes breakfast daily, complimentary in-room healthy beverages and amenities (replenished once daily), gourmet ice cream testing experience at The Ice Cream Shop and private transfers.
Al Bait is a newly opened deluxe boutique hotel, combining subtle Arabian influences with just a few Asian flourishes. The building was originally a grand manor house – Al Bait means home – and has now been converted into a hotel oasis of style and refinement.
It is spread over 10,000 square meters and is part of an Emirati conservation project. Its rooms, restaurants, spa and wellness facility are incorporated into ten separate standing heritage buildings.
Al Bait is located on the creek with views of Sharjah City, which is a short 5 minutes’ walk away. Here you will find modern shopping malls, traditional markets (souks), and museum.
Sharjah is one of the seven states that make up the collective United Arab Emirates (UAE), the others being Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras al Khaimah & Al Quwain.
Sharjah is located 18 miles drive east from Dubai which is the usual gateway airport and offers a very different experience to its better-known neighbour. Here in Sharjah, the influences are much more traditional and historic. That is part of the appeal.
The hotel is part of the GHM collection, so sister hotel to The Chedi in Muscat. There is a similarity in the style and ambience.
Please Note: Please note Sharjah is a ‘dry Emirate’ which means there are restrictions on serving / selling alcohol throughout the Emirate.
Al Bait has a selection of 53 rooms and suites.
All are designed in a traditional Arabian manner with separate “Majlis” (sitting area).
There is a choice of Deluxe Rooms, some with patio, Heritage Rooms and larger Specialty Suites.
All rooms have king size beds and are non-smoking . Guests are permitted to smoke in the outdoor terrace section. The room design perfectly captures the atmosphere of the destination, with subtle Arabic flourishes and discreet colours.
Separate spa for male & female | Fitness center.
The Museum is owned by the same family as the hotel
A choice of restaurant with the emphasis on Levantine and international cuisine.
Al Bait Sharjah is probably best appreciated by curious travellers looking to sample something unique and totally different to the openly hedonistic pleasures of neighbouring Dubai.
Here you are immersed in local culture and influences, but in supreme comfort.
We would suggest at least 2 nights at Al Bait, maybe as an extension from Dubai or en-route to the Six Senses Zighy Bay Resort in northern Oman.

+ About Dubai & Sharjah (UAE)
The tourism powerhouse of the region, although Abu Dhabi is the main commercial centre. Incredible innovation and iconic design, with a real desire to be the best, the largest, the tallest and of course the most glamorous! Flight time from the UK is just over 7 hours. Whilst Dubai is one of the most liberal countries in the region, you do need to show respect to their customs, their rulers and their religion. Public displays of affection are generally frowned upon.

Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May – June level and about 50% more in Asia.
For the Mediterranean & Canary Islands, Caribbean, Arabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.
*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per person per night hotel guide, excluding airfare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.

Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, some hotels may have changed their facilities. Standard descriptions like distance from airport or town remain consistent as does the overall resort style. However, the number of restaurants, swimming pools, if more than one, are by example flexible and can change depending on occupancy and circumstances. Spa facilities, in particular, may be changed depending on local and international suggestions.
If your holiday decision is based on any specific facility please let us know at the time of booking so we can ascertain availability from the hotel. Please note, such information may be accurate at the time given but could be subject to change. In these times it would be prudent to be open-minded and flexible on such matters.
The situation on destination entry seems to vary month to month, or in some cases week to week or even day-to-day. For updated information please refer to the UK Government travel advice https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. This will provide you with information on entry requirements including COVID-19 testing and any quarantine stipulations, especially on return to the UK. As you will know this information is constantly changing, frequently at short notice as evidenced by our own Government actions.
