The Westin Resort provides top-class resort activities for all the family.
The Westin Resort in Costa Navarino is of a similar design style to its elegant neighbour, the luxurious Romanos but is more family-focused.
The Westin Resort has 445 rooms and suites dotted around the extensive grounds in clusters, either overlooking the gardens or across the swimming pools toward the sea.
All of the clusters are low rise, up to four floors and each room has a balcony. Those on the ground floor usually have a plunge pool.
In a separate wing closer to the beach, you have a selection of one and two bedroom family suites, many with their own swimming pool and these are particularly suggested for families- assuming, of course, your little ones can swim!
Facilities shared with The Romanos – Numerous restaurants of differing cuisine styles located between the two hotels at the Agora Village centre, Greek-style amphitheatre for evening entertainment, open-air cinema, Navarino Dunes championship golf course and tennis courts.
Fantastic Anazoe Spa, located in the central area between the hotel and neighbouring Romanos. Award-winning and one of the most acclaimed in the entire region. A frequent award winner for its style and innovative treatments. Olive oil – allegedly discovered in the nearby Palace of Nestor – is a feature of many of the treatments. Although many of the treatments are adult-focused, some can also be tailored to younger teens as well.
A host of eco-friendly touring options including one of the largest off-road bike hire stations ever seen in a hotel!
Note – Whilst virtually all of the total resort facilities are available, the swimming pools at the Romanos are only for in-hotel guests.
There are two clubs for children. Cocoon is suited for the younger ones , infants and usually children up to 4 years happier in a smaller space . For those of a more confident nature and 4 years up, you have Sandcastles . This has to be one of the very best clubs. In addition to the water park with slides, you have climbing areas, a separate swimming pool, a games arcade, indoor sports hall and even a relaxed deli-style restaurant with a fun menu. You have a jukebox and adjacent bowling alley.
Depending on the season and occupancy, a separate teens club, probably in the peak summer months when additional coaching facilities will also be available.
This area of Greece is relatively unspoilt and you can still find many little villages where tourism is still in its infancy. The hillside village and port of Pylos are about 20 minutes drive away, here you will find some restaurant options and is particularly worth a short visit.
Please note: the immediate beach shelves sharply, so sea bathing is suggested for the more confident swimmer.
Obviously, when you combine the two resorts, it is a large property, but the grounds are extensive. The central Agora village area is very attractive. The Sand Castles Kids club is impressive and induced a yearning to be young again. Choice of Golf course, proof of handicap will apply at certain times.
The Westin is more family focused and maybe livelier than the neighbouring Romanos, which tends to be more romance influenced. Collectively the two resorts offer a good range of restaurants and activities.
There is a small village about 10 minutes drive away with some more dining options. The area has many eco-adventures, including visiting waterfalls and some out of the way authentic villages.

+ About Greece
Greece is truly a fantastic country, with superb resorts, a combination of contemporary styles and classic designs. History of course, with Athens well worth two or three days, if your time permits. Delightful beaches and traditional villages. And without doubt some of the most hospitable and friendly people.
Most of the resort hotels close at the end of October and start reducing facilities from mid October onwards, as occupancy decreases. Equally in May, hotel facilities are opened gradually, depending on occupancy, usually fully operational by mid June.

Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May – June level and about 50% more in Asia.
For the Mediterranean & Canary Islands, Caribbean, Arabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.
*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per person per night hotel guide, excluding airfare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.

Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, some hotels may have changed their facilities. Standard descriptions like distance from airport or town remain consistent as does the overall resort style. However, the number of restaurants, swimming pools, if more than one, are by example flexible and can change depending on occupancy and circumstances. Spa facilities, in particular, may be changed depending on local and international suggestions.
If your holiday decision is based on any specific facility please let us know at the time of booking so we can ascertain availability from the hotel. Please note, such information may be accurate at the time given but could be subject to change. In these times it would be prudent to be open-minded and flexible on such matters.
