Located about a 10-minute drive from the city centre. The temples of Angkor are about a 15-minute drive, and the airport is 50 minutes. The resort operates a regular shuttle.
Anantara Angkor Resort has 39 suites grouped around the garden courtyard and swimming pool. Located on either the ground floor with patio or upper floor with balcony, all pool-facing.
They are all spacious with at least 46sqm, including integrated living space. Interiors are usually polished brown wood with Cambodian artefacts and fabrics.
Some of the larger ground-floor and larger speciality suites command a price supplement.

Will appeal mainly to couples who value highly personalised attention rather than extensive on-site facilities.
On the neighbouring land there is an entertainment Ferris wheel. It is lit at night by law but has hardly operated since opening 5 years ago (written June 2025). It will be noticeable from some angles of the resort, but apart from that, nothing to trouble you. We are told that when it operated, the views of the temples from the top of the wheel were rather good.
The Anantara Hotel Group has numerous hotels throughout Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand and Vietnam. Multi-centre itineraries combining several of their resorts are easy to arrange.
