Saii Laguna Resort is an extremely attractive hotel, with family-focused rooms and facilities.
Those with good memories will recall it as Laguna Beach Club. It is still recognisable in places but with a much-needed sparkle, both to the rooms and public areas. There are good restaurant options within the hotel, more in the immediate area in the estate and even more in the local village.
The lively, proudly raucous and tacky resort of Patong – is about 25 minutes drive down the coast. Fun for a night out maybe, but would not be our choice to stay, especially as a family. B
ang Tao beach is one of the longest and most attractive in Phuket. It is usually at its best from December to May with soft sand and gentle waves. During the “Red Flag“ mid-summer months, in particular, you have some erosion and higher waves, making swimming and water sports much more difficult although the lagoon is usually sheltered.
The hotel has a selection of non-motorised water sports such as sailing & canoeing (subject to weather conditions). You can purchase motorised sports from beach vendors, but these would be at your own risk, as frequently equipment is faulty and carries no insurance.
This area is one of the most luxurious on the island, and apart from the hotels, it is also where you find numerous residential villas and homes.

Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May – June level and about 50% more in Asia.
For the Mediterranean & Canary Islands, Caribbean, Arabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.
*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per person per night hotel guide, excluding airfare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.

However, the number of restaurants, swimming pools, if more than one, are by example flexible and can change depending on occupancy and circumstances. Spa facilities, in particular, may be changed depending on local and international suggestions.
If your holiday decision is based on any specific facility please let us know at the time of booking so we can ascertain availability from the hotel. Please note, such information may be accurate at the time given but could be subject to change. In these times it would be prudent to be open-minded and flexible on such matters.
