An attractive all round hotel with impressive facilities for couples and families.
The Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay is probably the most established and best known international resort in the region. A combination of good in house resort facilities and traditional qualities. It is located elevated above a quiet cove, 15 minutes drive south of Bodrum Town and 35 minutes to the airport
The hotel offers 149 rooms and 24 suites. All are spacious with a combination of traditional and contemporary influences.
The standard rooms have a side sea view, all others are full sea-facing. For longer stays, we particularly suggest the suite accommodation with their extra living areas. If views are the priority, go for the Grand Deluxe.
The Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay Resort facilities are extensive and include main swimming pool plus separate kids pool, numerous speciality restaurants dotted around the resort with one at beach level (seasonal opening )
Several bars, gym, kids playrooms.
A selection of water sports can be arranged (extra charge) as well as ”Gullet” traditional yacht charter for a day or maybe even longer which is an ideal way to discover the many hidden coves along the coastline.
Dive centre in summer.
The beach is reached by a steep pathway through the gardens, taking about 4 minutes walk, maybe a little longer coming back. A buggy can be arranged on request. The beach is divided into family and quiet areas. See Chic Check
Huge and highly acclaimed spa, covering over 5000m, with local and Asian influences (children under 16 years not allowed in the spa).
An attractive all-round hotel with impressive facilities for couples and families.
Take time to discover the region, it is one of the many reasons clients choose to return year after year. The immediate area is rich in cultural attractions, as well as wonderfully scenic, so if you choose, this can be much more than just an exclusive beach retreat.
The Kempinski spa is particularly good.
The beach has a mixture of sand and pebbles as is common in this area, with an occasional ”ouch” factor but the water is crystal clear – there are also platforms which allow easy sea access.
The months of May / June and September / October are particularly good as you still have high temperatures but without the searing heat of mid-summer, and generally fewer crowds.

All price guides are Per Person Sharing Double Room (Entry level), based on travel between May and/or June when prices are generally at their lowest and include promotional offers. Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May - June level and about 50% more in Asia. For the Mediterranean & Canary Islands, Caribbean, Arabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.
*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per-person, per-night hotel guide, excluding air fare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.
