The Mandira Beach Resort is designed in a traditional style with an ornate temple-themed entrance, statues and mature tropical gardens leading down to the extensive beachfront.
The hotel was built 40 years ago so it had the pick of the locations with 5 acres of space, something that the newer hotels can only be envious of. It is great value and will appeal to families and couples.
Located at Legian, in the middle of the extensive 3-mile beach that links Kuta through to Seminyak. This is the area of Bali for boutique shopping, numerous restaurants with a complete range of styles and prices from upscale occasion dining to casual snacks, and in Kuta a rather proud raucous bar scene.
The beach here is one of the most popular with travellers and locals, particularly for the late afternoon sunset when it is generally at its widest and most expansive. Note: the sea here is probably best appreciated by the more confident swimmer and surfer, as there are normally strong currents.
The airport is 25 minutes’ drive away.
Mandira Beach Resort has a selection of 189 rooms, cottages and suites.
The Superior Rooms are located in the three and four-storied buildings at the rear of the property, with garden view. They are spacious at 35sqm and can accommodate three people.
The Deluxe Cottages are in a separate location, either ground floor with patio or upper floor with balcony.
The Exclusive Club Rooms are set in the gardens closest to the beach with a private courtyard. Also in this area, you have a Club Villa with private pool.

The design of Mandira Beach Resort really makes you feel you are in Bali with its deliberately traditional style, plus the setting is totally tropical.
It is a lively area which is very much part of the appeal. It is very well priced for the quality on offer. The rooms are larger than normal, certainly compared to some of the newer built hotels.
