Anantara Al Jabal Akhdar Mountain Resort is a new luxurious resort, opened in 2016. It is wonderfully located 2000 metres above sea level at the tip of the Jabal Akhdar mountain – one of the highest points in Oman. It is elevated above the historic town of Nizwa, 30 minutes drive away. 2 hours drive from Muscat Airport.
Al Jabal Akhdar Mountain Resort has a selection of 82 Deluxe Rooms with Canyon views.
All are spacious and combine contemporary comforts with pleasing Omani touches. You then have an additional 32 One and Two Bedroom Villas, each with their own swimming pool. Some have added garden area. Perfect for families or two couples travelling together.
