Zeavola Resort offers tropical island simplicity with boho chic touches.
A selection of rustic thatched roofed villas dotted around the hillside and along the beach. Zeavola Resort is authentic, romantic, and totally Thai. The luxury here comes in the deliberate simplicity, the real sense of destination, “Robinson Crusoe “style escapism but with reassuring comforts.
It is located on Laem Tong Beach on the north shore of the main Phi Island. Normally you would arrive at Phuket Airport, be transferred by road (15 minutes) to the ferry point and then take the hotel motorised longboat straight to the beach (journey time about 90 minutes, daylight only). Arrangements can also be made to arrive from Krabi on request. If you are making same-day flight connections we suggest the first and/or last night is spent in Phuket.
Zeavola has been a longstanding member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. It was also one of the first in Thailand to embrace sustainability. This is proudly reflected in the day to day running.
Zeavola Resort has 53 teakwood Villas spread over the extensive grounds.
All are spacious starting at 40sqm and include a bedroom and open living area patio. All are airconditioned, although many prefer the fan-cooled option.
You have a choice of Village, Garden or Beachfront location.
In addition, there are several Duplex Private Pool Villas located at the cusp of the hill with even greater privacy and incredible views of the Rainforest and Ocean.

Zeavola Resort is a Boutique in style and highly personalised, reflecting the true simplicity of Phi Phi, which is part of the appeal, yet with a great sense of style.
Phi Phi is known for its diving & snorkelling, its beaches and its laid-back, ultra-chilled lifestyle. The island does attract hedonistic backpackers, usually in the central zone where you find basic accommodation bars and restaurants. And then you have those who maybe used to be backpackers in their youth but have now financially grown – still adventurous but requiring comfort. That is where Zeavola steps in.
Phi Phi tends to have pathways rather than roads and travel around the island is usually walking, cycling or most frequently by boat.
Zeavola is open year-round. The most popular months are November to April when the days are usually bright and sunny and the sea calm. During the spring & summer months you can experience higher sea swells making the longtail transfer a little bumpy, increased humidity and maybe short heavy showers – and lower prices.
Zeavola is essentially couples-focused. Children are accepted but there are no specific facilities other than what nature has provided
In our view, Phi Phi has a real attraction as part of a tour around Thailand. We would suggest a few nights in Bangkok, maybe up to Chiang Mai in the North and then down to Phuket and on to Phi Phi.

All price guides are Per Person Sharing Double Room (Entry level), based on travel between May and/or June when prices are generally at their lowest and include promotional offers. Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May - June level and about 50% more in Asia. For the Mediterranean & Canary Islands, Caribbean, Arabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.
*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per-person, per-night hotel guide, excluding air fare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.
