Zannier Hotels Bai San Ho is something fresh & exciting in Vietnam, combining traditional influences and contemporary comforts.

Due to heavier than expected rainfall and associated flooding in October/November 2025 resulting in some damage, the resort is closed until spring 2026. Ask us for an update at the time of enquiry.

Zannier Hotels Bai San Ho opened December 2020, the first venture into Vietnam by Zannier Hotels. A delightful luxury resort combining a simple, deliberately rustic style with a wonderfully natural setting facing a one-kilometre-long white sandy beach (the name means Bay of Corals) and lush mountain backdrop. There is a similarity with the idyllic Zannier Phum Baitang in Siem Reap, Cambodia – see separate feature.

Bãi San Hô is located in the South Central Vietnam area of Phu Yen province, with the nearest airports being Phu Cat and Tuy Hoa. Both are about 70 minutes of scenic road transfer from the resort. There are several flights daily from Saigon (70 minutes) & Hanoi (1.45 minutes).

This area generally has its best weather from February through September, with the mid-summer months being the hottest. October to January tend to be much cooler with higher rainfall.

Accommodation

Zannier Hotels Bai San Ho has a total of 71 villas and 2 residences spread around the extensive grounds. Each provides a real sense of destination, with influences taken from local tribes plus, of course, reassuring contemporary comforts.

The 25 Paddy Field Villas (49 sqm) are on stilts and overlook the working rice fields.

The 25 Hill Pool Villas (53 sqm of interior living space), elevated with superb views, all have their own plunge pools. Most are one-bedroom, but there are a couple of two-bedroom villas that are particularly suitable for families.

The 21 Beach Villas (59 sqm of interior living space) provide the easiest access to the beach, plus they all have their own plunge pool. 18 are one-bedroom, and 3 are two-bedroom.

The two residences are:

Grand Bay Pool Villas (240 sqm) with 3 bedrooms
and Grand Bay Pool Villa (240 sqm) with 4 bedrooms

Both are constructed over 2 levels with breathtaking views over the bay, including open kitchen, dining room, large living room, a bathroom per room, a loggia, several terraces and decks and a private infinity plunge pool.

Facilities and Activities

Several restaurants and bars placed around the resort area, providing you with a choice of location and cuisine, although the emphasis will be Asian with a Mediterranean twist.

A selection of water sports can be arranged, subject to weather conditions.

A number of day tours, both on land and by sea, can be arranged at the resort.

CHIC CHECK

This area is one of the least developed in Vietnam, which rather adds to its charm and appeal. It is a total contrast to the more developed Danang and Nha Trang.

Here the pleasures are simple & authentic. Explore small fishing villages, delightful coral bays, and quiet coves. A wonderful sense of adventure and discovery, with the journey part of the experience.

We particularly suggest a combination with Saigon – to us, one of the most exciting cities in the entire region, and Hanoi, with its slightly slower pace and history and gateway to Halong Bay.

Or maybe an extension to Siem Reap in Cambodia to explore the incredible temples of Angkor, staying at the equally appealing Zannier Phum Baitang.
