One of the most popular resorts in the region, especially with upscale European ex-pats, so early booking is essential. Whilst other hotels have gone for a rather bland corporate ubiquity, Sailing Club Mui Ne is much more individual and Vietnamese in style so you have a real sense of destination.
The resort is family friendly, although for more independent children who have outgrown face painting. There are no specific facilities other than what nature provided.
The best time to visit Mui Ne tends to be November through to May, when the days are usually bright and sunny, but with enough wind to keep your kite flying. The months June to October tend to see more rain, usually in short sharp showers. September / October can see heavier bursts with occasional flash floods and tropical storms. However, this region, with the Binh Thuan desert just inland (well worth a half day excursion), is known as the driest in Vietnam, and generally does not experience the extremes found elsewhere.
