Sailing Club Mui Ne Resort is totally Vietnamese, and one of the most popular resorts in the region.
Sailing Club Mui Ne Resort is a really attractive boutique hotel with a traditional thatched roofed theme and a real sense of destination.
Mui Ne is located in Binh Thuan Province 150 miles (4 hours approx.) drive northeast from Saigon. Mui Ne started life as a sleepy fishing village, and whilst international tourism has most certainly arrived, it still retains an authentic charm.
The livelier resort and town area of Phan Tiet is just a few miles drive along the coast.
Saling Club Mui Ne Resort has a choice of 31 rooms and bungalows. All are elegantly simple, with all of the contemporary comforts you desire.
You have the option of:
Sapa House Garden View Rooms, with the Superior version being considerably larger and comfortably accept an extra bed .
There are Superior Garden Bungalows, Deluxe Garden Bungalows, Deluxe Beachfront Bungalows.
And finally a really attractive Three Bedroom Family Villa.
- Sandal’s beachfront restaurant and bar
- Spa
- Cooking class & Vietnamese language classes , local excursion concierge and group yoga classes
- In addition, there are numerous dining options within a few minutes walk
- Swimming beach (public, as are all in Vietnam)
- Mui Ne is one of the most popular places for both kite flying and Kite Surfing, and there is a dedicated school located within the Sailing Club, good for both learners and those more experienced
Sailing Club Mui Ne Resort is a delightfully charming resort where personalised attention is considered even more important than extensive facilities.
One of the most popular resorts in the region, especially with upscale European ex-pats, so early booking is essential. Whilst other hotels have gone for a rather bland corporate ubiquity, Sailing Club Mui Ne is much more individual and Vietnamese in style so you have a real sense of destination.
The resort is family friendly, although for more independent children who have outgrown face painting. There are no specific facilities other than what nature provided.
The best time to visit Mui Ne tends to be November through to May, when the days are usually bright and sunny, but with enough wind to keep your kite flying. The months June to October tend to see more rain, usually in short sharp showers. September / October can see heavier bursts with occasional flash floods and tropical storms. However, this region, with the Binh Thuan desert just inland (well worth a half day excursion), is known as the driest in Vietnam, and generally does not experience the extremes found elsewhere.
