Tanah Gajah Ubud is Located 10 minutes from the village centre. It is yet another outstanding Bali property. Low-rise villa style, surrounded by rice fields with the misty peak of Mount Agung in the distance. Incredibly spacious grounds for just the 20 freestanding villas.
The airport and the beach resorts of Seminyak and Nusa Dua are about 75 minutes drive away.
The hotel was formerly known as Chedi Club but changed its name to Tanah Gajah (place of Elephants) in January 2020. The hotel is now under the highly personalised long term owners management team.
The Tanah Gajah Ubud has just 20 villas within the extensive private estate.
All have spacious bedrooms with integrated living space and terrace, with half having additionally their own swimming pool (particularly recommended for that extra touch of romance). Most are One bedroom, but a couple has two bedrooms, ideal for families.

Apart from the very attractive villas, the location is a selling point here. Unlike most of the other Ubud hotels we feature which are elevated with numerous steps, The Tanah Gajah is on one level bordered by rice fields so all the facilities are easily accessible. The atmosphere is calm and serene.
We particularly suggest a twin-centre combination, ideally with the Legian in Seminyak.
