The Bale Bali offers cutting edge design, combined with the genuine smiles of Bali. A real hide and chic romance retreat.
The Bale Bali offers classic chic simplicity. Elegant white-stone buildings, almost Andalucían/Moorish in style. The emphasis here is on space and light, with the gentle sound of flowing water. Elevated above the Nusa Dua resort area overlooking the ocean.
The larger hotels of the Nusa Dua area and the village with its simple authentic restaurants is about a 5 minutes drive away. 30 minutes from the airport.
The Bale Bali has 29 spacious Villa Pavilions, all totally private with walled gardens.
In each you have polished terrazzo floored bedrooms with integrated living space, outdoor dining area, garden sundeck and swimming pool.
The Deluxe version is even more spacious with extra amenities.
Swimming pool | Spa and gym
A delightful open kitchen restaurant
A funky little chill-out bar
There is a buggy service to the Geger beach, at the relatively quieter end of Nusa Dua, where there is a separate club
Adjacent to the hotel, you have a championship golf course
A selection of water sports can be arranged at the beach club
The Bale is a totally unique, high-quality villa retreat, with the emphasis on space and light. An almost Andalucian design style with just a flourish of Asia.
Bale was one of the first hotels on the island to offer a stripped-down, ultra-contemporary chic style. It is still one of the most photographed hotels in the region, particularly for fashion and design magazines. It has a simple uncluttered elegance. Rather unusual on an island that likes statues and colour. It is almost clinical and stark. At the same time, wonderfully cool on so many levels.
We have a particularly strong rapport with the hotel management that will ensure you have an exceptional holiday.
The Bale appeals essentially to romantic couples and does not accept children under 16.
As there are numerous steps and sharp lines as part of the design feature, it would not be suitable for those with mobility problems.
The Truth About Earthquakes & Volcanoes
Indonesia is located within the dramatically named “Ring of Fire”. As such, earthquakes are almost a daily occurrence in some parts of the archipelago. Anything less than five on the Richter scale of earthquakes hardly breaks a stride locally and is barely reported. There are 130 active volcanoes. Some have been docile for years, others seem to grumble more frequently. So in reality, you can have natural a disturbance, but the chances of it actually happening to you are rare. A little tremble quite probably, anything more serious unlikely. Neither earthquakes or volcanic eruptions are seasonal.
