Kaura Tented Camp is a unique experience, with an adventurous style and incredible views.
Kaura Tented Camp is far from the ordinary. Something very different and perfect for those wanting to be close to nature.
Opening in early 2024, it is a selection of tents, mainly on stilts, dotted around the hilltop. The camp is located in Manggis on the east coast, about 20 minutes steep drive inland to the hilltop.
The views are incredible, with Lombok clearly visible most days.
The airport is about 90 minutes drive.
Kaura Tented Camp has 22 tents, all air-conditioned and with en suite shower and WC.
Most are suitable for couples, with a few larger and suited to families. All have a wooden patio or verandah.
There are 18 28sqm Pavilion Rooms in double and twin-bed configurations, facing the valley and ocean below.
There are an additional 4 Kaura Family Pavilions, offering 35 sqm of added comfort for up to two adults and two children.

- A selection of eco-focused adventures such as cycling through the rice fields and trekking to the nearby waterfall are included
Something very different, for both Bali and Chic Location. The term glamping is appropriate (camping with a touch of glamour).
David from Chic visited in November 2023 and was impressed. Suggested stay would be 2 or 3 nights, in combination with more conventional hotels. Longer stays can be arranged.
