As you drive up, the limestone islands on the horizon come into sight. Magical. The reception staff ask you to have a seat and enjoy a drink while they complete your registration, allowing you to truly take in the stunning view.

Banyan Tree also has a low-rise villa-style resort in Phuket, and the combination would make an interesting contrast. The scenic road transfer between the two resorts would be around 3 hours.
