The Kayana provides you with boutique quality & style and a great location to experience Seminyak.
The Kayana is a truly delightful boutique hotel. The emphasis is on high-quality accommodation, personalised service and attention, rather than extensive in house facilities.
Tucked away off a small street in the Seminyak area – the restaurant capital of Bali – 400m from the beach and 30 minutes drive to the airport.
The Kayana has 24 individual villas. All have walled gardens to ensure your total privacy.
You have a choice of:
Deluxe Villas with plunge pool. A total living space of 180sqm, including the 3x4m plunge pool.
Pool Villa. The same amount of total living space as above, with a slightly smaller bedroom but a larger 7x4m pool.
Two-Bedroom Villa. Perfect for families, with a larger living space and 5x8m pool.
Regular shuttle to Seminyak Square for shopping or the beach. You can also walk there in a couple of minutes.
The Kayana real gem with easy access to the beach and many of the upscale boutiques in the area.
Seminyak is known for its numerous high-quality restaurant options. we have shown a picture of Breeze at Samaya just as an example. You have so many choices either beachside or romantically located next to rice fields. Plus you have simple, relatively low priced alternatives and attractive al fresco bars, some with music.
On this, the well known W Hotel is next door and is known for musical vibes throughout the day and into the night. It might be audible from your outside garden but not once in the room with the door closed.
The beach at Seminyak stretches for 4 miles, running into Legian and then to the ultra lively resort of Kuta. One of the most popular on the island, both for international travellers or locals, who gather to just chill out and enjoy the sunset. Perfect for power walks or just gentle strolls. Make it early in the morning and you can see the fishermen preparing their nets and boats.
The sea here is probably best enjoyed by the more confident swimmer or surfer, as high waves generally exist.
Kayana will be opening a sister property on the neighbouring island of Lombok, scheduled for mid-summer 2019. This will make an interesting twin-centre of scenic & cultural contrasts. Ask us for details.
The Truth About Earthquakes & Volcanoes
Indonesia is located within the dramatically named “Ring of Fire”. As such, earthquakes are almost a daily occurrence in some parts of the archipelago. Anything less than five on the Richter scale of earthquakes hardly breaks a stride locally and is barely reported. There are 130 active volcanoes. Some have been docile for years, others seem to grumble more frequently. So in reality, you can have natural a disturbance, but the chances of it actually happening to you are rare. A little tremble quite probably, anything more serious unlikely. Neither earthquakes or volcanic eruptions are seasonal.

+ About Bali – Indonesia
In our view, Bali Indonesia is one of the most romantic islands in the world. Add instant culture & an almost spiritual atmosphere. Despite increased tourism, once away from the busier resorts you still have a wonderful sense of tradition.

All price guides are Per Person Sharing Double Room (Entry level), based on travel between May and/or June when prices are generally at their lowest and include promotional offers. Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May - June level and about 50% more in Asia. For the Mediterranean & Canary Islands, Caribbean, Arabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.
*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per-person, per-night hotel guide, excluding air fare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.
