Kayumanis Ubud is a boutique deluxe, all-villa pool suite property. Sister hotel to the resort in Nusa Dua, similar in design, but with the added attraction of a truly spectacular setting overlooking the Agung River.
Located just 20-minutes drive outside of the village of Ubud. The airport is 60-minute drive, a little longer if you want to enjoy the fantastic views en route.
From 01 April 2022, the resort will accept (ideally well-behaved) children, but there are no specific facilities for them. You need to be sensibly cautious, as villas have private pools. You may be asked to sign an insurance disclaimer.
Kayumanis Ubud has 23 individual villas, all with their own swimming pools.
Each is designed in a totally Bali-authentic style, with the villas linked by shaded pathways giving the impression of a traditional village.
All villas have spacious bedrooms with four-poster beds, mainly outdoor showers, garden and high walls to ensure your privacy.

The resort appeals mainly to couples, but children are now accepted, although there are no specific facilities. As all villas have private pools, you do to be vigilant with younger children unable/learning to swim.

Indonesia is located within the dramatically named “Ring of Fire”. As such, earthquakes are almost a daily occurrence in some parts of the archipelago. Anything less than five on the Richter scale of earthquakes hardly breaks a stride locally and is barely reported. There are 130 active volcanoes. Some have been docile for years, others seem to grumble more frequently. So in reality, you can have a natural disturbance, but the chances of it actually happening to you are rare. A little tremble, quite probably… anything more serious is unlikely. Neither earthquakes nor volcanic eruptions are seasonal.
