Spice Island Beach Resort Grenada is a top-quality all-inclusive resort with an incredible beach.
Spice Island Beach Resort Grenada, is one of the most famous hotel names in the Caribbean, and lovingly nurtured by generations of the Hopkin family since the late 1980s.
This is Caribbean hospitality at its very best, constantly evolving but retaining the core values of personalised service and attention to detail.
Located on the south-west corner of the island on Grand Anse beach, without doubt, one of the very best in the entire Caribbean (and probably the world ), with over 2 miles of powder-soft sand and usually gentle waves.
The airport is 10 minutes’ drive. The attractive island capital St George’s 15 minutes.
Spice Island Beach Resort Grenada has 64 luxurious suites, all with integrated living space.
You have a choice of:
Oleander Suites, which are located in a two-story garden building but still less than 35 yards to the beach.
Our Sea Grape Suites, situated directly on the beach, are well-appointed along 1600 feet of powder white sand. You also have the luxurious Saffron and Royal Cinnamon Suites that boast two bathrooms, a separate living room, a dining area and a wet bar.
The Pool Suites are set back in a lush tropical garden area. The Anthurium Suites feature private pools and walled patios. In addition, there are the Luxury and Royal Collection Specialty Suites, with outdoor patio space and larger private pools.

David from Chic fondly recalls his first stay at the Spice Island Beach Resort back in the mid-1970’s – Yes he is really that old. It was good then, but over the years it has seamlessly evolved with numerous enhancements in virtually all areas. And of course the beach – instant wow each and every day!
The dress code is very casual during the day with cover-ups required over swimsuits in public and dining areas. After 7 pm, for dining at Oliver’s restaurant, the dress code is elegantly casual evening attire, excluding sleeveless tops for gentlemen, as well as shorts for both ladies and gentlemen. Smart jeans, polo shirts as well as dress sandals are welcome for both ladies and gentlemen. Trainers are not permitted.
The Sea and Surf Terrace & Bar feature a menu of authentic local specialities for lunch. Casual dining and dining for children under five years old accompanied by parents, available in Sea & Surf Terrace. Children menus are available.
As a Caribbean leader in environmentally friendly practices, Spice Island Beach Resort is completely smoke-free. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, will not be allowed in any area of the resort.
Note – Children 0-11 years are not accepted in pool suites year-round, for safety reasons.
Why not consider combining Grenada with one of the neighbouring islands?
We particularly like the idea of a twin with Barbados. The islands are 50 minutes flight apart but are very different scenically and atmospherically with Barbados having numerous dining options, good shopping and maybe a more compromised view of tourism. Grenada is deliberately more natural, slower-paced and gentle.
