Covid 19 – 2021 Travel Update
Not quite the start to 2021 we all wanted, but given the rapid spike in cases around the UK, the present lockdown was almost inevitable. We are still digesting the relevant information and as of today (06 January ), much of it is guidance, but we are of the impression this will be passed into law later this week.
As such, it is highly unlikely there will be any holidays departing from the UK from now until mid-February.
For those lucky enough to be in tropical climes, the airlines are still continuing to operate as scheduled, however, we do expect to see some service reductions & consolidations as the month progresses. In our opinion, there is no need, or indeed legal requirement, for you to rush home. You are in a good place so continue to enjoy.
The Caribbean and The Maldives continue to dominate our sales for 2021. Whilst they do have some sensible local protocols that have to be observed, in general, the atmosphere is totally relaxed – and looking at the recent comments – hugely enjoyable.
South-East Asia remains closed to most international travellers and this is likely to be the case until late March at the earliest.
So stay safe and well. Things will improve and we remain optimistic for the spring and summer months.

All price guides are Per Person Sharing Double Room (Entry level), based on travel between May and/or June when prices are generally at their lowest and include promotional offers.
Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
Please refer to Travel Advice on our home page or look at www.fco.gov.uk as the Foreign Office may have issued specific destination information on safety and terrorism.
