The Lao Mekong River 5 night (6 days) Tour & Cruise
(Wednesday – Monday) commences in Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage City, where the boat is based for full-day cruises north along the mighty Mekong River. You visit the famous Pak Ou caves where you see literally thousands of statues of Buddha and a series of small totally unspoilt village communities.
The Lao Mekong Cruise 3 night (4 days) Tour & Cruise
(Monday – Thursday upstream and Friday – Monday downstream) commences in the southern city of Pakse, and visits the 4000 “islands“ – actually small inlets within the river – and the Khone Waterfalls, regarded as being the most dramatic in southeast Asia.
All cruises include daily sightseeing on a group basis, three locally influenced meals daily. Optional additional accommodation in Pakse and Luang Prabang, and other points in the region can be easily arranged. Details on request.
