Royal Garden Villas & Spa is wonderfully unique, offering boutique elegance with a Balinese twist…
Royal Garden Villas & Spa is a really stunning little boutique hideaway, positioned on a hillside adjacent to a golf course and overlooking the popular Costa Adjeje resort and beach area. The design style is Balinese influenced, evident both in the public areas and villa interiors . The airport in the South ( Reina Sofia ) is 25 minutes’ drive away, and the beach, restaurant and activity of Costa Adeje just a few minutes’ drive or a brisk 25 minutes walk downhill, a little longer coming back!
The Royal Garden Villas & Spa has 28 beautifully decorated villas, each with their own plunge pool. You have a choice of one two or three bedrooms.
Each is individually themed, all with a distinctly Asian flavour. They vary in size, however, all are exceptional in their quality. Each bedroom has en suite bathroom . Within each villa you have a kitchenette and separated living room with in and outdoor lounging space . All but the Duchess and Princess villas have Balinese Gazebo on the terrace .
You have a choice of Duchess Villas (140sqm ) , larger Gran Duchess Villas ( 200sqm) , Princess Villas with two bedrooms ( 208 sqm) , Gran Princess and Royal Princess two bedroom Villas ( 233sqm & 240 sqm) , Queen 2 bedroom Villa , Majestic and Gran Majestic two bedroom duplex villas Villas ( 233 sqm & 320 sqm ) and Royal and Imperial three bedroom villas (355sqm) ( :
One Bedroom Villas suitable for two persons, or Two Bedrooms for a family or two couples travelling together. and the three bedroom for six persons
Swimming pool, elegant restaurant, Asian influenced spa & pool, fitness room , Squash court , underground parking and of course highly personalised service and attention. For golfers one of the best courses in Tenerife is adjacent . The owners also have a restaurant / beach club at Monkey Beach in the rather more developed Playa Las Americas area , about 15 minutes drive away .
Royal Garden Villas & Spa offers something very different, with a particular attraction to the independent traveller requiring high-quality accommodation. Perfect for those who value personal attention more than extensive resort facilities. That is part of the attraction , the fact it will not appeal to everyone .
It is wonderfully boutique in the truest sense, totally unique and for the right client, it is a rather gorgeous option to the usually larger rather bland hotels. The views overlooking the adjacent golf course and down to Costa Adeje bay add to the sense of style and exclusivity. You are close to busy resort activity if you need, about 10 minutes drive and then retreat back to the calm and tranquillity of your villa resort.
We do recommend a self-drive car to assist your flexibility and convenience. Essentially adult-focused, children are accepted although there are no specific facilities and as all villas have plunge pools you need to be sensibly cautious.
Within the Costa Adeje you have numerous hotels and restaurants, whilst just a 5 minute drive away you have the authentic but expanding fishing village of La Caleta which has some interesting “sea to the plate within minutes“ restaurants. The immediate beach at La Caleta is a small volcanic sand option with swimming more from rocks but at Costa Adeje you have a man enhanced choice with dark sand and improved swimming ( driving from Royal Garden 7 minutes )
Both David and Marie-Helene stayed at the resort and totally enjoyed it .
Tenerife is an fascinating island to explore. The main tourist development is in the more arid south, with the northern region having a much more mountainous rural terrain and culture, a totally different atmosphere yet just over an hour away. Visit Mt Tiede, the highest point of Spain, with its drive-in volcano.
On the northeast coast, an easy hour drive across the island, you have the lively typically Spanish working port of Santa Cruz, with its good shopping and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Just above the city, you have the charming UNESCO Heritage village of La Laguna.

A new destination for us. Initially, just a toe-in-the-water approach with just one hotel featured, the deluxe-rated Radisson Blue & Spa located just north of Dubrovnik. We shall be adding a few additional hotels within the Dubrovnik region within the next month.
Croatia is known for its crystal clear Adriatic waters, numerous cove bays and off shore islands – there are apparently almost a thousand stretching from the northern border with Slovenia down to Montenegro in the south. Inland, you have pine covered mountains and traditional villages.

All price guides are Per Person Sharing Double Room (Entry level), based on travel between May and/or June when prices are generally at their lowest and include promotional offers. Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May - June level and about 50% more in Asia. For the Mediterranean & Canary Islands, Caribbean, Arabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.
*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per-person, per-night hotel guide, excluding air fare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.
