Four Seasons Tented Camp is located in the extreme north of Thailand at the point where the Mekong River separates Thailand from Laos and Burma (Myanmar).
Chiang Rai airport is 45 minutes away.
Just 15 luxurious zip-up tents all on stilts with the majority overlooking the river. Each has an in-tent bathtub and outside showers.

You need to be comfortable with the realities of being close to nature, but that is all part of the adventure.
We particularly like the idea of combining the Tented camp experience with the equally impressive Four Seasons Resort in Chiang Mai.
We suggest a driver-guide taking the scenic mountain pass, visiting authentic villages and hill tribes en route. (alternatively, there is a much less interesting but quicker motorway option). From Chiang Mai, there are direct flights to the beach resorts of Phuket and Samui.

It is the main gateway to the region. Flying time from Bangkok 60 minutes. Chiang Rai is in the extreme northeast of the country, even smaller and more traditional, with the focal point of interest being the Golden Triangle, the area where Thailand, Laos and Burma (Myanmar) all meet.
