Kinsterna Hotel is an outstanding hotel, full of charm with a genuine boutique quality and great attention to detail.
The cuisine, and wines, totally capture the style, with much produced within the surrounding estate. We think it will appeal to adventurous travellers wanting to discover one of the lesser known and least developed parts of Greece, but in total style.
Car hire, whilst not essential, would be suggested as this will enable you to fully discover this attractive and historic area. Well behaved children are accepted year round, especially in the peak summer months, when the style becomes more of a family retreat. The Spring and Autumn months are more couples focused.
The Kinsterna Hotel is open most of the year, with the winter emphasis on cuisine and, of course, the spa. Kinsterna Hotel is an ideal retreat from the harsh northern European months, although the swimming pools might be more photographed than used. During these months many of the suites have their own fireplace, which is nicely romantic. The spring and early autumn months are naturally idyllic. The mid summer months is the time to experience the beaches and the incredible scenery.
Just an idea – As you will probably be travelling via Kalamata or Athens, why not consider a twin centre holiday of total contract. In Kalamata we would suggest The Romanos Costa Navarino Resort. For those with families the adjacent Westin Resort. In Athens our suggestion would be the historic and centrally located Grande Bretagne.
