InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort is a new and very different addition to the Dominican hotel scene. Opened in October 2019, the resort style is rather elegant, with spacious grounds, extensive on-site facilities, and high-quality contemporary accommodation.

It is located at Douglas Bay, just outside Portsmouth on the north-west coast of the island, within the Cabritts National Park.

40 minutes drive from the international airport at Melville Hall and 70 minutes from the capital Roseau.



Accommodation

InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort has 151 rooms and suites. All are bright and spacious, spread over several low-rise clusters.

You have a choice of:

Deluxe Rooms, some on the ground floor have pool access.

There are larger Junior and One Bedroom Suites.

The views will either be across the pool or back towards the high mountain backdrop.

You have river safaris and jungle treks, which can be easygoing or testing depending on your requirements. You can explore the small ramshackle villages.

At sea, you have great diving, snorkeling, and whale and dolphin watching.
