We feature just the luxurious Four Seasons Resort in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh, although through our local agents we have access to many more hotel and cruise rates. Sharm El Sheikh is Egypt’s most developed and international resort, with good beaches and is generally highly regarded as a popular dive destination. Flying time is just under 5 hours. UK passport holders do not need a tourist visa providing their stay is limited to the main resort area, however a visa is required should you anticipate touring outside of the resort.

Generally Sharm is at its most popular February to May when the days are usually bright and sunny. The mid-summer months can be exceedingly hot and humid. The months October to January are generally cooler especially at night although most days are sunny and bright, however cold snaps can be experienced in December and January.

The Four Seasons Resort is regarded as one of the finest in the region, with high standards of service and facilities and probably is the main reason for visiting Sharm. A real oasis of luxury that shines like a beacon above other resorts.

Sharm is highly developed, and is certainly more international than Arabic in many ways – although the recent political changes in the region are trying to introduce a much more traditional slant to the resort offerings, which may, or may not, be considered an attraction depending on your point of view.

IMPORTANT NOTE – The UK Foreign office have issued a travel advice restricting travel to certain parts of the country. Refer to fco.gov.uk for updated bulletins.  Currently the Red Sea resorts have not been included in this restriction but this is a constantly changing situation.
