Mount Agung in Bali could erupt at any moment.
Tens of thousands of people from villages at the foot of Mount Agung have been evacuated as a precaution due to hundreds of volcanic earthquakes recorded over the past few days. Experts say it could erupt within hours. The volcano last erupted in 1963, and whilst there have been regular tremors since then, this is the first time in recent history for real concern.
The situation does change day to day. At the moment (27 September) we are not advising clients to postpone or cancel, however, we are monitoring the situation daily. There is a possibility of ash cloud disrupting flight schedules.
