Description & Location

Trisara Phuket is one of the most acclaimed luxury hotels in the entire region. Trisara, in the old Sanskrit language, means “Garden in the third heaven“. It is wonderfully stylish. Perfectly blending the highest contemporary comforts seamlessly into a totally natural and romantic backdrop of hillside forest, leading down to a sheltered cove beach.

Trisara Phuket is located on the much less developed north-west coast. 15 minutes from Phuket International Airport.

The Trisara Phuket has a selection of 39 hotel suites and villas and 24 Residential Villas. All are spacious and ocean-facing.

You have a choice of:

The Ocean View  Junior Suites cover 135sqm of total living space, including a pool. They are located at the highest point overlooking the resort.

The Signature Ocean View Pool Suites are considerably larger at 230sqm, including a separated lounge area and patio balconies facing a wide expanse of Andaman Sea.

The Ocean Front Pool Villas are slightly larger occupying a total area of 240sqm, directly facing the wide expanse of sea. They are the most in demand, given their incredible location.

The Trisara Signature Two Bedroom Villa is set on the hillside, with two large bedrooms, in and outdoor lounge area and pool.

In addition, you have a selection of opulent Residential Villas ranging from two to seven bedrooms. Perfect for multigenerational families or maybe a party of friends.

Attractive Spa - Gym with the option of Muay Thai boxing classes - Tennis

Trisara Phuket is an award-winning resort. Truly jet set, particularly in the peak months of December to April. This is simple, casual elegance at its very best.

Phuket has developed fast but this is primarily in the south of the island, around the raucous and proudly tacky Patong nightlife area. It can be fun for a night out, as its only 50 minutes drive away, but it is a very different world in every sense. The north-west coast area is the most upscale on the island and is the place of choice for many luxurious private homes, as well as a few hotels.

Trisara Phuket is located on a hillside with numerous steps linking the facilities. This would not be ideal for those with mobility issues. All accommodation has a private swimming pool, so you do need to sensible with younger children.

Phuket is generally at is best weather-wise November through to end April, when the days are usually bright and sunny and the sea calm. The period May to October can see the red flag much more in evidence with higher waves and heavy short sharp showers.

A holiday at Trisara can be easily combined with a tour around Thailand. In Bangkok, we would suggest either The Siam or The Sukhothai Hotel. In Chiang Mai, the 137 Pillars House. There are also direct flights linking Hong Kong where we think Upper House combines rather well. In Singapore, the Duxton Six Senses or The Warehouse can provide interesting contrasts.

The present traffic like system for travel introduced by the UK Government was maybe well-intentioned but has probably lead to even more confusion. So this is an attempt to clarify, in deliberately simplistic terms.

All price guides are Per Person Sharing Double Room (Entry level), based on travel between May and/or June when prices are generally at their lowest and include promotional offers.
Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.

For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May – June level and about 50% more in Asia.

For the Mediterranean & Canary IslandsCaribbeanArabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.

*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per person per night hotel guide, excluding airfare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.

Please note, such information may be accurate at the time given but could be subject to change. In these times it would be prudent to be open-minded and flexible on such matters.

The situation on destination entry seems to vary month to month, or in some cases week to week or even day-to-day. For updated information please refer to the UK Government travel advice This will provide you with information on entry requirements including COVID-19 testing and any quarantine stipulations,  especially on return to the UK.
