The Danna Langkawi is a deluxe hotel, colonial influenced design with a modern twist.
Located within the marina area on the north-west corner of the island. 15 minutes from the airport.
The Danna Langkawi Resort & Beach Villas has 126 rooms and suites. All are spacious starting at 60 sqm.
All reflect a ‘British-Malaya’ Colonial influence, with heavy woods and a grand Empire style, with evocative names such as Merchant & Viceroy rooms, Straits Bar or The Planters Restaurant. The rooms are in a 5 storey main building and overlook the gardens and the adjacent marina, leading down to the secluded long cove beach.
You have a choice of:
Hill View, Mountain View and Sea View.
In addition within the main building, you have a selection of speciality suites.
You also have a selection of new one-bedroom beach villas (plus an additional Family Two bedroom villa). Each of the 15 Villas is sumptuous and spacious with their own swimming pool and easy access to the beach through your garden.
Langkawi is not known for its vibrant nightlife, however, in this area, you have a selection of alternative restaurants, a few bars plus you are conveniently close to Langkawi Underworld Park.
The cable car is very popular and offers the opportunity of spectacular views.
The Danna Langkawi has a colonial design theme with high-quality accommodation, attractive sheltered cove beach. It has a convenient location with a couple of alternative dining/bar options close by in the marina, which is just a few minutes walk away.
All rooms are spacious and high quality. The courtyard view provides the lowest price, although we particularly like the marina view option, especially for longer stays. The new beachfront villas are special, spacious, totally contemporary and so well located.
The Cenang resort area with its numerous restaurant options is about 15 minutes drive.
