The Sukhothai Bangkok is an oasis of calm in a tranquil garden setting, yet you are just a few yards away from South Sathorn Road, in the very heart of commercial Bangkok.
The Sukhothai Bangkok is a deluxe hotel, centrally located on South Sathon Road, close to Lumpuni Park and the shopping area of Silom Road. One of the very best hotels in the region, valued by those who appreciate originality, classic chic elegance and gentle, calm simplicity. And, of course, the highly personalised attention.
Sukhothai Bangkok Hotel has 400 deluxe rooms, executive and speciality suites, grouped around the garden courtyard and ornate lily ponds.
The newly opened Club wing, with rooms overlooking the swimming pool, are particularly attractive and have access to their own private club lounge with optional breakfast area, day time snacks and beverages and evening cocktails.
Facilities include several restaurants

Sukhothai Bangkok is elegant, in hushed tones, even when busy. It really is an oasis of calm in a tranquil garden setting, yet you are just a few yards away from South Sathorn Road in the very heart of commercial Bangkok. The newly extended swimming pool is really something, an extra plus point in a property that is just full of charm and unique style. In our view, one of the very best hotels in the region and that is saying something.
Both the Italian and Thai restaurants are regarded as some of the best in the city, both for their cuisine and decor.
David from Chic stayed at the hotel recently and would be delighted to share his experience.
Note – During the period August to Mid December 2019 there will be some room enhancements in the main building. This will be done floor by floor. During this period part of the lobby area will also be refreshed. All restaurant options will remain operational as will the pool which is located in the adjacent wing.

Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, some hotels may have changed their facilities. Standard descriptions like distance from airport or town remain consistent as does the overall resort style. However, the number of restaurants, swimming pools, if more than one, are by example flexible and can change depending on occupancy and circumstances. Spa facilities, in particular, may be changed depending on local and international suggestions.
If your holiday decision is based on any specific facility please let us know at the time of booking so we can ascertain availability from the hotel. Please note, such information may be accurate at the time given but could be subject to change. In these times it would be prudent to be open-minded and flexible on such matters.
