Le Menara Resort is an outstanding new deluxe resort, opened in late 2017. Classic Thai simplicity and elegance combined with modern comforts and amenities. Low rise and boutique in style, with an emphasis on personalised attention.
It is located on a superb stretch of beach at Banglut, in the (even more) quieter area of north Khao Lak, 20 minutes drive to the main village and 90 minutes from Phuket Airport. The little town of Takuapa with its authentic charm is 10 minutes drive away.
Le Menara Resort has a selection of 104 deluxe rooms or villas. All are spacious and beautifully designed.
You have a choice of :
64 Garden Deluxe rooms. These are in the two-storey main building so either ground or first floor, overlooking the garden courtyard. They offer 73sqm of total living space with an integrated living area.
28 Garden Villas. These are stand-alone villas, built on stilts. Even larger with 118sqm of total in and out living space including a large patio. They are located in two rooms running adjacent to the main swimming pool and are closer to the beach.
8 Honeymoon Villas. As above garden villas, but with private jacuzzi. Some are beachfront.
4 Two-bedroom Villas with either Garden or Beach Front Location. The Largest accommodation, with a total of 247sqm of total living space including your own swimming pool and open-air living space.
Superb beach with 4 miles of soft sand. Non-motorised water sports subject to weather conditions.
Yoga on a group basis but private sessions can be arranged. Muay Thai boxing classes.
Bike hire to explore the local area. Regular shuttle to both Khao Lak and Takuapa Villages
Chic Locations are delighted to be chosen as a partner with the superb Le Menara Resort. An outstanding quality of accommodation, balanced with an elegant and stylish ambience.
Khao Lak is now developing fast, but this location, closer to Takuapa than the main village, is much quieter with a real sense of escapism, with enough interest to attract the curious traveller. The emphasis is on space, personalised smiling attention. A great place to totally relax and chill out, ideally with someone you like!
Khao Lak is on the Andaman Sea part of Thailand, so the most consistent weather is usually November to April when the days are usually hot and sunny. The beach is at its best and the waves calm. In the months May to October, it is still hot and usually sunny but you can have heavy shower bursts, some beach erosion and higher, occasionally red flag, waves. But on the plus side, the prices in the summer are reduced with more promotional offers.

Located on the west coast of the Gulf of Siam, just over 2 hours drive south of Bangkok. For years they have been the aspirational centre for affluent Thai families who have holiday homes in the area. The two resorts run into each other along the coast, with Hua Hin the more developed with many hotels and in particular high rise condominiums.
Samui – Good, highly innovative hotels and some excellent dining options. The majority of the development has occurred in the north-west area of the island and the more expansive beaches.
Phangan, Koh Tao and Khanom are much less developed, it is like going back 30 years in time, with just a handful of hotels, and offers a true sense of adventure.
