Nightly price from £248 per person

Description & Location

Kata Rocks is a new ultra-contemporary deluxe resort, with incredibly spacious accommodation. Located on a rocky headland sandwiched between Kata and Kata Noi- two of the best beaches on the island. It has already developed quite a following with repeat guests, but almost rejoices in its proudly “unknown” status.

The raucous resort area of Patong is 10 minutes drive away – a rather different world but can be fun for a night out. The airport 50 minutes. Phuket Town, with its more authentic markets and charm, is 25 minutes. The hotel is accessed by a narrow bumpy road from Kata but this rather adds to the sense of arrival!

Accommodation

A selection of 34 Sky Villas, all beautifully designed in a less is more minimalist style. Each has its own living room, swimming pool, kitchen and indoor and outdoor living space. All have sea view. You have a choice of one to four bedroom villas, all with en suite bathrooms.

Facilities and Activities

Main swimming pool
Restaurant and bar
Really innovative Spa and equally funky gym
Kids play room
During the winter season the resort has its own 6 bedroom yacht which is an ideal way of discovering the numerous small islands and bays that surround Phuket

CHIC CHECK

Kata Rocks is cool, Chic, and has a rather hip style. Highly personalised, intimate, luxurious and spacious. DK tried out the spa, and the gym, in June (2016), as well as sampling the room comfort and cuisine and was impressed. He liked the way it is hidden away but just minutes from all of the activity of the Kata area.

The style is romance focused although children are happily accepted. However as there are some steps, and each villa has its own swimming pool, you do need to be sensibly cautious especially with younger ones.

Immediately in front of the hotel you have off the rocks swimmin. The popular Kata Beach is just a short 3 minute stroll away. The resort will arrange shuttle if required. In the Kata area you have numerous alternative bars and dining options.

Incredible early booking discounts, with up to 30% at certain times.

The present traffic like system for travel introduced by the UK Government was maybe well-intentioned but has probably lead to even more confusion. So this is an attempt to clarify, in deliberately simplistic terms.

All price guides are Per Person Sharing Double Room (Entry level), based on travel between May and/or June when prices are generally at their lowest and include promotional offers.
Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.

For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May – June level and about 50% more in Asia.

For the Mediterranean & Canary IslandsCaribbeanArabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.

*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per person per night hotel guide, excluding airfare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.

Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, some hotels may have changed their facilities. Standard descriptions like distance from airport or town remain consistent as does the overall resort style. However, the number of restaurants, swimming pools, if more than one, are by example flexible and can change depending on occupancy and circumstances. Spa facilities, in particular, may be changed depending on local and international suggestions.

If your holiday decision is based on any specific facility please let us know at the time of booking so we can ascertain availability from the hotel. Please note, such information may be accurate at the time given but could be subject to change. In these times it would be prudent to be open-minded and flexible on such matters.

The situation on destination entry seems to vary month to month, or in some cases week to week or even day-to-day. For updated information please refer to the UK Government travel advice https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. This will provide you with information on entry requirements including COVID-19 testing and any quarantine stipulations,  especially on return to the UK. As you will know this information is constantly changing, frequently at short notice as evidenced by our own Government actions.
