Contemporary Italian design meets Balinese traditional elegance with Bvlgari Resort Bali!
Including breakfast daily and transfers | Based on travel May – June or October.
Bvlgari Resort Bali is one of the most acclaimed luxury hotels in the region, which is a statement in itself. A highly individual design theme that embraces contemporary Italian design and authentic Balinese influences. Perched 150m above sea level, with incredible views – especially sunsets. An inclinator elevator takes you to the small cove beach – and of course back up again!
Located at the cliffs of Uluwatu, on the southern tip of Bali. 45 minutes’ drive from the airport. 60 minutes to the restaurant area of Seminyak.
Bvlgari Resort Bali has a selection of 59 Villas and 5 Bvlgari Mansions.
The Villas are in tiered rows, all with ocean-facing panoramic views. Each villa is incredibly spacious with over 300sqm of total living space, including a bedroom and en-suite bathroom with an in-and-out shower. All have a walled garden with private plunge pool and relaxing area. The price is influenced by location, the interiors are almost identical.
You have a choice of:
Ocean facing over the thatched roofs of the row(s) in front or Premier Ocean, which are closer to the cliff. You then have Ocean Cliff which is directly facing the ocean with uninterrupted views, probably the most in-demand location. In addition, you have a few Two Bedroom Villas.
Plus there are five Bvlgari Mansions ranging from two up to five bedrooms. Perfect for larger multi-generation families or a group of friends.
Daily cultural actives
Several restaurant options with differing cuisine with unique themes and romantic locations.
Bvlgari Resort Bali has a high level of accommodation, in every sense! All of the elegant style associated with the iconic Bvlgari brand. Come for the views, the real sense of exclusivity, not forgetting the personalised gracious service.
It is essentially romance and /or adult-focused. Bvlgari accepts children, but as it is set on a cliff edge and all villas have private pools, you will need to be sensibly cautious.
The small beach area is cleverly elevated from sea level (so it can shelve suddenly). The sea at this tip of southern Bali has strong swells so is generally avoided. There are some swimming beaches about 20 minutes drive away.
The Uluwatu area is gradually developing but at a much slower pace than you will find at Nusa Dua & Seminyak. There are now some beach or restaurant options within a short drive. Essentially, staying here will be focused on chilling out in sublime comfort.
If this is your first time to Bali, we would suggest Uluwatu in combination with other points on the island, most certainly Ubud where we have a number of luxurious resort options. For something very different, have a look at the idea of 3 nights up in Ubud, 5 nights at Bvlgari and then going across to Nihi on the neighbouring island of Sumba for 4 nights. Total discreet luxury, amazing scenic contrasts.
The Truth About Earthquakes & Volcanoes
Indonesia is located within the dramatically named “Ring of Fire”. As such, earthquakes are almost a daily occurrence in some parts of the archipelago. Anything less than five on the Richter scale of earthquakes hardly breaks a stride locally and is barely reported. There are 130 active volcanoes. Some have been docile for years, others seem to grumble more frequently. So in reality, you can have natural a disturbance, but the chances of it actually happening to you are rare. A little tremble quite probably, anything more serious unlikely. Neither earthquakes or volcanic eruptions are seasonal.

In our view, Bali Indonesia is one of the most romantic islands in the world. Add instant culture & an almost spiritual atmosphere. Despite increased tourism, once away from the busier resorts you still have a wonderful sense of tradition.

Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May – June level and about 50% more in Asia.
