Absolute Sanctuary is a dedicated Fitness and Wellness resort with superb facilities. It is owned and managed by Absolute You, one of the leading health & lifestyle brands in South East Asia.
The design style, both in and out, is inspired by Morocco. This is particularly evident in the archways, the subtle lighting and the room decoration.
The resort is a no smoking/no alcohol resort. Telephone communication is encouraged within the privacy of your room or space, rather than in public areas.
Children under 12 are not accepted. 16 years is the minimum age for many of the treatments
The resort is located on a hillside in the northeast of Koh Samui. You are a 4-minute drive to Cheong Mon Beach (the resort operates a shuttle), 10 minutes’ drive to the lively Chaweng Beach area. The airport is 8 minutes away.
Absolute Sanctuary has a total of 38 rooms, all located within the main building.
You have a choice of:
Sanctuary Superior Rooms with twin beds
Sanctuary Deluxe Rooms, which are larger with King size bed.
Sanctuary Junior Suites with King Size bed and have integrated living area.
All rooms have en-suite bathroom, balcony or patio and garden or pool view. You have Wi-Fi and TV, plus you will find this facility in the library.

This is very different from a traditional holiday resort with the occasional spa treatment. Absolute Sanctuary is for the client wanting to change their lifestyle, shape and maybe philosophy.
You are encouraged to share your objectives with fellow guests. For example, the yoga & Pilates classes will be on a small group basis. Private classes can be arranged at a supplement.
The accommodation is simple yet attractive, with the emphasis on space and light “Mediterranean“ colours.
The little village of Cheong Mon is a few minutes’ drives away. Here you will some shops and simple dining options. The more raucous resort of Chaweng, with its lively nightlife, is 10 minutes’ drive. Fisherman’s Village restaurant area is 15 minutes.
Samui is an attractive island to discover. You can easily circumnavigate on a day tour. The North & East coasts have seen most of the development. The south and west still retain a more rural authentic Thai feel. The resort can arrange any tours you require. That being said, we do not suggest motorbike hire.
Your stay at Absolute Sanctuary can be easily combined with Bangkok and/or Chiang Mai, and numerous other places of interest within Thailand and the region – ask us for suggestions.

Supplements will probably apply at other times, particularly mid-summer in the Med, and for rooms and/or transfers arranged for single travellers.
For example, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean prices for winter can be approximately double the May – June level and about 50% more in Asia.
For the Mediterranean & Canary Islands, Caribbean, Arabia and the Indian Ocean (except Sri Lanka) price guides generally include airfare and transfers.
*For Sri Lanka and Far East we show a per person per night hotel guide, excluding airfare, as arrangements tend to be individually tailored multi-centre itineraries.

Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, some hotels may have changed their facilities. Standard descriptions like distance from airport or town remain consistent as does the overall resort style. However, the number of restaurants, swimming pools, if more than one, are by example flexible and can change depending on occupancy and circumstances. Spa facilities, in particular, may be changed depending on local and international suggestions.
If your holiday decision is based on any specific facility please let us know at the time of booking so we can ascertain availability from the hotel. Please note, such information may be accurate at the time given but could be subject to change. In these times it would be prudent to be open-minded and flexible on such matters.
The situation on destination entry seems to vary month to month, or in some cases week to week or even day-to-day. For updated information please refer to the UK Government travel advice https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. This will provide you with information on entry requirements including COVID-19 testing and any quarantine stipulations, especially on return to the UK. As you will know this information is constantly changing, frequently at short notice as evidenced by our own Government actions.
