Description and Location
A spectacular setting, accessed by boat, on a headland just off Krabi, 20 minutes from the airport followed by a 17 minute speedboat ride. Located within a national park, with lush  tropical foliage, limestone cliffs and fringed by 3 beaches, of which 2 are amongst the most impressive in the region. A real Hide & Chic retreat, romantic and essentially couples focused although independent  and confident children will also find it attractive.

Accommodation
The 98 suites are dotted around the extensive grounds, the majority are rondavel style pavilions with downstairs lounge area and upstairs bedroom. Spa Pavilions additionally have Jacuzzi and garden area. There are also several 2/3 bedroom beachfront villas, each with their own swimming pool.

A new introduction has been eight Terrace Pavilion suites. See images 7 & 8. Totally renovated deluxe suites, these have upgraded facilities with a more contemporary design plus  a large outdoor shaded terrace. They are located close to the swimming pool, near to Railay Beach. see footnote.

Internal room enhancements will be carried out in sections of the resort between June to October 2013.

Facilities and Activities
Facilities include choice of restaurant with differing locations around the resort, swimming pool, tennis (watch out for monkeys acting as unofficial ball boys!), gym and excellent spa. Boutique. A range of non-motorised water sports can be arranged, as well as diving.

Most of your activity will be within the resort, although there a couple of outside restaurant and bar options and a few tourist shops close by.

During the months of November 2012 - March 2013 inclusive, the hotel will operate a twice weekly shuttle – speedboat and van – to the lively Ao Nang resort area of Krabi. A very different holiday  experience but worth trying before retreating back into your luxury oasis at Rayavadee.

Chic Check – One of the most photographed hotels in Thailand. There are numerous pathways linking the various facilities, so get your bearings as it can get confusing, particularly at night. The main beach is one of the best in the region and can get busy with day trippers.

During the period August to October, a further selection of pavilion suites will be enhanced. This work will be individual and mainly interior work, although it might be noticeable as you walk around the extensive tropical estate.
