Description and Location
A stunning ultra-luxurious resort that since its opening in 2009 has really captured the imagination of affluent travellers seeking something that is very different. Located on the west coast at Kamala Bay, in an area called Millionaires Mile given the style of the private villas, 25 minutes from the airport. Paresa is perched on a cliff edge with outstanding views of the bay below.

The design style is simple, understated but totally elegant with the emphasis on space and light, taking full advantage of the stunning location. There is no immediate beach, although the resort can make arrangements to shuttle you to a nearby option just 5 minutes drive away.

Accommodation
Within the resort you have a selection of 49 junior suites, speciality suites or villas. All are incredibly spacious with generous indoor and outdoor living space. The Talay junior suites are the entry level of accommodation, and have shared use of a swimming pool. The Aqua suites and the Cliff Villas have almost double the living space and have their own private swimming pools. The Dima spa suite has even greater space and in addition to the private infinity pool, also has its own spa area for in suite treatments and steam room.

The ultimate are the Cielo Residences, offering over 600 sq.m of total luxurious space, infinity pool, dining room with magnificent views, wine cellar of course and 24 hour butler service.

Facilities and Activities
Main facilities include elevated restaurant and bar, swimming pool, spa. Although Paresa promotes its sense of isolation and serenity, you are just 15 minutes drive away from several of the hotels in the Bang Tao/Surin region where you have a further selection of restaurants plus there are two championship golf courses nearby. And for something very different, go for a night to Patong with its numerous bars and some surprisingly good restaurants, and then retreat into your very different world.

Chic Check – Magnificent location, this area of Phuket resembles the Amalfi coast of Southern Italy. As you are elevated, you do need to be comfortable with heights, and given the steep incline to some of the facilities it would not be suitable for those with mobility problems although there is a buggy service on demand. It’s totally stylish and very romantic, so would not be ideal for families with younger children or those who require easy access to a beach. Come for the chic escapism, the spacious suites, the incredible views, travel with someone special, its far too good to enjoy on your own !

Thought Provoking
Phuket is easily accessible from Bangkok, so a 2-3 night stopover is easy to arrange, and we would suggest either the Sukhothai or Peninsula hotels. There are also excellent flight links with Kuala Lumpur where we would suggest the Shangri-la, or Singapore where we recommend either the Shangri-la or Raffles.
