Now under new management and ownership. One of the most famous hotels on the island, long established with a superb reputation for personal and friendly service and outstanding food and wine. Located at the quiet end of Kata Beach, 50 minutes from the airport.

Accomodation. 38 rooms and suites. All have been recently enhanced, with a bright contemporary design. Each has sea facing aspect, with the deluxe rooms closer to the beach. You also have a selection of family (Junior) suites with intergrated living area  , and a two bedroom Hideaway  suite .

Facilities and Activities
Facilities include main swimming pool, award winning wine cellar, boutique and a whole host of recent enhancement that include room renovation,, an open show kitchen restaurant, improved spa, sunset lounge and  its most recent addition, the Rekata Beach Club with its own private area.

Chic Check – New ownership (same as the Trisara further up the west coast), considerably enhanced already with many more subtle innovations in the pipeline – yet still retaining the same high level of individual attention and without detracting from the delightful simplicity of the original hotel. It is a property that has a gradual appeal, with probably the entrance giving the impression of something much more modest, but within hours we are sure the friendly staff, the great location and the room comfort will have totally won you over.

Hotel revisited in June 2012, and we continue to be impressed with the rather chic enhancements. For years the hotel was almost thought of as God’s waiting room given the average age of the clients, but the new management have brought an instant modern contemporary touch to the facilities that will appeal to a younger, but still discerning, client.

Within the immediate area you have a wide variety  restaurant options, offering Asian and  Northern European / Scandinavian cuisine ,  as well as quite a few “ Ranjit Armani ”  style tailors.
