With immediate effect, Thailand has banned any vaporisers, E-cigarettes or refills. These will be confiscated upon arrival, and if you abuse the law by using within Thailand, you will be at least fined, or at worse imprisoned.
This follows a similar ruling in Singapore last year, and is likely to be introduced in many more Asian countries. In Singapore, they also have bans on regular cigarette smoking and drinking alcohol in public areas such as parks and similar open spaces, together with a total ban on the import of chewing gum.
Of course we all have our own view on such things, but as an avid non-smoker this all makes total sense to me, and I find it objectionable to walk through a haze of smoke, of whatever kind, perfumed or not.
