In respect to the privacy of the bride and groom – and possible copyright from Hello Magazine – We will not go into details about the happy couple or show any intimate photographs of the event.
However we think the images here show the colour and the excitement of a Traditiona Thai wedding. It was a real experience. A traditional Buddhist wedding ceremony followed by a procession through the village of the bride, band and all.
As you can see above DK elected to go in traditional Thai silk wedding attire, as did many other guests from Europe and Australia.
MH was in bright summer dress, perfectly suited to the 38 degree mid morning temperatures. She said it was an incredible unique experience and they both felt privileged and honoured to have been invited.
Kamphaeng Phet is located 5 hours drive south of Chiang Mai and the same distance north of Bangkok. The nearest airport is Sukhothai which is 90 minutes drive away. It is a rural area, known mainly for its small sweet bananas.
