Chic Check – delightfully non-corporate, the appeal is to overworked executives who spend their lives in luxurious but nondescript hotels and are looking for something more individual and unique. Intentionally, the rooms do not have TV, but do have yoga mats and iPods! The beach is fantastic, over a mile of soft sand and generally clear waters. It is wonderfully simple, stripped down elegance, with an eco- conscience, yet without compromising your comfort.
In recent years this area has seen some villa development, mainly from Bangkok ” Hi-So” (high society), but the charm is still calm and totally chilled. You just kick back and relax. You do now have a couple of restaurant options close to Aleenta which actually rather adds to the appeal. It does make a unique retreat for a few days after a tour around the region.
